211 m of the Turkmenistan Tower, 57 mm on your shelf
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Thin mast above the deck
A fine mast tops the round observation deck. Print friendly adapts it to the print scale; Full detail keeps it on a larger print. Print slowly with cooling for the thin tip.
- Star section with sharp points
The eight-pointed star partway up the tower has many sharp corners. A bigger print size and a layer height of 0.12–0.16 mm keep the points crisp.
- One piece with the ground
The Turkmenistan Tower is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Turkmenistan Tower takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About the Turkmenistan Tower
The Turkmenistan Tower, in the city of Ashgabat, serves for communications and for observation. It stands 211 m (692 ft) high and is the tallest structure in the country. The Turkish company Polimeks started building it in 2008, and the opening ceremony, held by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow, took place on October 17, 2011.
Its main job is to carry TV and radio antennas, and the signal reaches about 100 kilometers around. For visitors, a revolving restaurant sits at 145 m (29th floor), a VIP room at 140 m (28th floor), and the main observatory at 150 m (30th floor), which gives a 360-degree view.
The decorative octagonal "Star of Oguzkhan" on the tower is acknowledged as the largest architectural star image in the world, and it appears in the Guinness Book of Records, and the tower is visible across nearly all of Ashgabat and its suburbs.
About this model
The Turkmenistan Tower is one of more than 4,900 landmark models in Mini Skyline. They are made with AI, and each one is checked from four sides in its real surroundings before release. Everything around it is built from OpenStreetMap and Overture map data. If you would rather print the shape from map data, turn off Landmark models in the Buildings settings.
