Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Rows of small windows

Both long wings carry rows of small windows and cornice lines. Print friendly adapts them to the print scale, while Full detail keeps every window, which suits a larger print or a fine nozzle.

  2. A slim courtyard between the wings

Two long wings enclose a narrow courtyard that opens toward the river. Layers of 0.12 to 0.16 mm help keep the gap and the roof edges sharp.

  3. One piece with the ground

The Uffizi Gallery is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  4. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  5. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Uffizi Gallery takes the building color.

  6. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About the Uffizi Gallery

The Uffizi Gallery is a leading art museum beside Piazza della Signoria and within Florence’s historic center, in Tuscany, Italy. It ranks among Italy's most important museums and among the largest and best-known anywhere. Its priceless collection includes many works from the Italian Renaissance. When the ruling Medici family died out, its art collections passed to Florence itself under the "family pact" (Patto di famiglia) that Anna Maria Luisa, the final Medici heiress, negotiated.

Giorgio Vasari started the building in 1560 on behalf of Cosimo I de' Medici, who wanted the administrative committees, agencies and guilds of Florence housed together. That is where the name comes from: uffizi means offices. Alfonso Parigi and Bernardo Buontalenti carried the work on, finishing it in 1581. The top floor became a gallery for the Medici family and their guests, and Buontalenti's octagonal Tribuna degli Uffizi was finished in 1584.

The long, narrow courtyard opens toward the Arno through a Doric screen, and architectural historians regard it as Europe's first regularized streetscape. Visitors could see the gallery by request from the sixteenth century. In 1769 it officially opened to the public, and it formally became a museum in 1865. The Uffizi is counted among the first modern museums.
