5 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Ornate front facade
The street front carries fine relief decoration, while the rest of the building is plain boxes. Full detail keeps the ornament on a larger print; a layer height of 0.12–0.16 mm helps it show.
- One piece with the ground
Union County Performing Arts Center is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Union County Performing Arts Center takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About Union County Performing Arts Center
Union County Performing Arts Center, known as UCPAC, is a nonprofit venue for performances in Rahway, New Jersey. The city is small and lies west of Staten Island. The venue used to be a movie palace called the Rahway Theatre. Its campus includes four performance spaces, and the Mainstage, the original theater, has a capacity of 1334.
The Rahway Theater opened in 1928 as a vaudeville venue and silent movie house, an ornate movie palace. New York architect David M. Oltarsh designed it in the classical revival style. Its original Wurlitzer pipe organ, fully restored and working, is placed on the National Registry of Significant Instruments of the American Theatre Organ Society.
By the 1970s the building had fallen into dilapidation as a movie house. A local nonprofit preservation group reopened it in 1984, and the National Register of Historic Places added it in 1986. In 2006 the Board of Chosen Freeholders of Union County put $6.2 million into renovating the Mainstage.
