Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Transept and roof details

A church with a transept has several rooflines and small projecting parts. Print friendly adapts thin parts to the print scale; a larger print or Full detail keeps more of them.

  2. One piece with the ground

Versailles Cathedral is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  3. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  4. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Versailles Cathedral takes the building color.

  5. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About Versailles Cathedral

Versailles Cathedral is a Roman Catholic church in Versailles, France, and a national monument. Its French name is Cathédrale Saint-Louis de Versailles. Here sits the Bishop of Versailles, whose bishopric was created as a constitutional one in 1790 and confirmed by the 1801 Concordat. Originally it was built as the Saint Louis parish church, and later became the new diocese's cathedral.

The building dates from the middle of the 18th century. Louis XV laid the first stone on June 12, 1743; the building was consecrated on August 24, 1754. The architect, Jacques Hardouin-Mansart de Sagonne, was a grandson of the famous Jules Hardouin-Mansart. In 1764 the northern transept gained the Chapelle de la Providence, added by Louis-François Trouard; it is now the Chapelle des Catéchismes.

During the French Revolution the church served as a Temple of Abundance and was badly defaced. The post-Revolutionary bishop chose it as his cathedral, over the Notre-Dame church in Versailles. Its consecration as a cathedral was severely delayed and did not take place until 1843.

About this model

Versailles Cathedral is one of more than 5,500 landmark models in Mini Skyline. They are made with AI, and each one is checked from four sides in its real surroundings before release. Each model is written as code from public descriptions, plans, photographs and aerial views used only as references; no image or third-party model is copied into it. Everything around it is built from OpenStreetMap and Overture map data. Rights in the building itself, its name and any brands on it are not granted by Mini Skyline; clear them separately before you sell prints. If you would rather print the shape from map data, turn off Landmark models in the Buildings settings.
