Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Wings and roof details

A palace compound can have long wings and small roof details. A larger print size keeps more of them; use Full detail with a fine nozzle, or Print friendly for a small print.

  2. One piece with the ground

The Vorontsov Palace (Saint Petersburg) is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  3. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  4. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Vorontsov Palace (Saint Petersburg) takes the building color.

  5. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About the Vorontsov Palace (Saint Petersburg)

The Vorontsov Palace is a Baroque palace compound in Saint Petersburg, Russia, covering a large parcel of land with Sadovaya Street on one side and the Fontanka River on the other. Francesco Bartolomeo Rastrelli built the 50-room palace, at enormous expense, for Count Mikhail Illarionovich Vorontsov, chancellor to Empress Elizabeth. Construction began in 1749 and lasted eight years. Vorontsov later sold the property to the crown.

Then Paul I of Russia, Grand Master of the Knights Hospitaller, gave the palace to that order, and Giacomo Quarenghi, another Italian architect in Russia, was asked to modernize it. Between 1798 and 1800 Quarenghi added a Catholic chapel for French aristocrats living in exile. From 1810 the palace was home to one exclusive military school after another, among them the Page Corps from 1810 to 1918. An elaborate cast iron grille screens it from Sadovaya Street, and a large garden separates it from the Fontanka Embankment.
