Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Façade lines at print scale

The glass façade carries fine vertical lines around the main tower. Print friendly adapts that detail to the print size; Full detail keeps it for a larger print or a finer nozzle.

  2. Slow print near the top

The main tower rises well above the surrounding buildings. Slow the print as it goes up, with good cooling, and use 0.12 to 0.16 mm layers for a clean top edge.

  3. One piece with the ground

The Warsaw Spire is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  4. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  5. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Warsaw Spire takes the building color.

  6. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About the Warsaw Spire

The Warsaw Spire is a neomodern office complex in Warsaw's Wola district, Poland. Its main tower, Warsaw Spire A, rises 220 meters and carries a hyperboloid glass façade. Two smaller buildings, Warsaw Spire B and Warsaw Spire C, are 55 meters tall. In Poland, only two buildings stand taller: the Palace of Culture and Science, and the Varso Tower.

The Belgian developer Ghelamco built the complex. Jaspers-Eyers Architects, a Belgian studio, designed it with the Polish-Belgian design office Projekt Polsko-Belgijska Pracownia Architektury. A large open plaza with green areas and water elements surrounds the buildings, and FRONTEX has its headquarters in Warsaw Spire B. The complex also received a BREEAM Excellent certificate at the MIPIM property fair in 2014.

Construction started in mid-2011 with diaphragm walls around five basement levels, which included a parking lot. The tower reached its full 220 meters in April 2015 after the spires were assembled, and a topping out event followed on April 24, 2015. A neon sign reading "Kocham Warszawę" ("I love Warsaw") went up on the upper floors and returned in a more advanced version in May 2016 for the building's opening.

About this model

The Warsaw Spire is one of more than 4,400 landmark models in Mini Skyline. They are made with AI, and each one is checked from four sides in its real surroundings before release. Everything around it is built from OpenStreetMap and Overture map data. If you would rather print the shape from map data, turn off Landmark models in the Buildings settings.
