Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Slow layers for the tower top

A tall tower prints most cleanly at a lower layer height (0.12–0.16 mm) and a slower speed near the top. Print friendly keeps thin upper parts sturdy at small sizes.

  2. One piece with the ground

Western Canadian Place is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  3. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  4. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Western Canadian Place takes the building color.

  5. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About Western Canadian Place

Western Canadian Place is a complex of office towers in central Calgary, Alberta, Canada. It has two buildings, a taller North Tower and a shorter South Tower. The North Tower, at 707 8th Avenue SW, stands 164 m (538 ft) tall with 40 stories, while the South Tower rises 128 m (420 ft) over 30 stories. The ensemble was completed in 1983.

Cohos Evamy designed the complex in the late modernist style; the same firm was behind the Bankers Hall buildings, East and West, in Calgary. bcIMC bought it in 2004 for $230,675,000, and GWL Realty Advisors manages it for them and was among the firms involved in building it. Husky Energy once had its headquarters there.

About this model

Western Canadian Place is one of more than 5,500 landmark models in Mini Skyline. They are made with AI, and each one is checked from four sides in its real surroundings before release. Each model is written as code from public descriptions, plans, photographs and aerial views used only as references; no image or third-party model is copied into it. Everything around it is built from OpenStreetMap and Overture map data. Rights in the building itself, its name and any brands on it are not granted by Mini Skyline; clear them separately before you sell prints. If you would rather print the shape from map data, turn off Landmark models in the Buildings settings.
