170 m of the Yanggakdo International Hotel, 47 mm on your shelf
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Saucer crown and lift shafts
The model carries the thin revolving-restaurant saucer on the roof and the paired glazed lift shafts on the entrance face. Print friendly adapts these narrow parts; Full detail keeps the window grid for a large print or a fine nozzle.
- One piece with the ground
The Yanggakdo International Hotel is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Yanggakdo International Hotel takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About the Yanggakdo International Hotel
Yanggakdo International Hotel is North Korea's largest operating hotel, pending the Ryugyong Hotel's completion, and the tenth-tallest building in the country. Yanggak Island, in the Taedong River, is its site, two kilometers (1.2 mi) southeast of the center of Pyongyang, the capital. The tower reaches 170 meters (560 ft) and has a revolving restaurant on the 47th floor.
North Korea's first luxury hotel, it was built by Campenon Bernard, a French construction company, between 1986 and 1992, and it opened in 1996. The building has a bar and bookshop on the ground floor, four more restaurants on the second floor, and a basement with a bowling alley, pool room, sauna, swimming pool, barber shop, casino and massage club.
A 9,000-square-meter nine-hole golf course was part of the original grounds; in 2011 it was demolished for a Chinese-funded health complex. One of the main venues of the Pyongyang International Film Festival, the Pyongyang International Cinema Hall stands on Yanggak Island beside the hotel grounds.
