9 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- A wide hall, low roof
The arena spreads wide and stays low, so most of its shape is in the plan rather than in height. A larger print, or Full detail with a fine nozzle, keeps the roof edge and the walls around the base clear.
- Slow layers on the roof
The roof is a broad flat surface, and such surfaces show layer lines. Printing slowly with good cooling keeps its long straight edges clean.
- One piece with the ground
The Adidas Arena is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Adidas Arena takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About the Adidas Arena
The Adidas Arena is a modular hall for many kinds of events, in the La Chapelle neighborhood of Paris's 18th arrondissement. Its seating runs to 8,000 for sport and 9,000 for concerts and shows, and the building holds two gymnasiums intended for local clubs and residents. Work began in March 2020, and the hall was inaugurated on February 11, 2024, when Paris beat Saint-Quentin 87–65 in an LNB Élite basketball match.
While it was being built the project went by the name Paris Arena II. The sponsor name was announced in July 2022 for the German sporting goods maker Adidas; under an agreement with its operator, SAE POPB, that covers five years and can be extended to seven, the sponsor pays 2.8 million euros a year. The city council also decided that the esplanade in front of the arena would take the name of Alice Milliat, a French athlete and sports official who campaigned for women's rights.
Once open, it served as the home court for Paris Basketball and PSG Handball when either club needed a larger venue. At the 2024 Summer Olympics it hosted badminton and rhythmic gymnastics, and it also staged para badminton and powerlifting. The first concert there was given by the French rapper La Fève on April 14, 2024.
About this model
The Adidas Arena is one of more than 4,400 landmark models in Mini Skyline. They are made with AI, and each one is checked from four sides in its real surroundings before release.
