Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Pitched hall and glass front

The model sets a long pitched hall roof behind a bowed north end and a gridded glass lobby. Print friendly reduces the fine glazing; a larger print or 0.12–0.16 mm layers keeps the window grid and tower signs readable.

  2. Twin sign towers

The brick sign towers carry small inset windows and lettering. Full detail keeps them; Print friendly simplifies the marks at small scales.

  3. One piece with the ground

The Blue Cross Arena is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  4. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  5. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Blue Cross Arena takes the building color.

  6. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About the Blue Cross Arena

The Blue Cross Arena, whose other name is the War Memorial, is a multipurpose indoor venue in Rochester, New York. It first opened on October 18, 1955, under the name Rochester Community War Memorial. A mid-1990s renovation ended with the venue reopening on September 18, 1998, taking the Blue Cross Arena name while keeping the War Memorial title. Hockey and lacrosse games can seat 10,662 spectators.

The building occupies a downtown block between Exchange Boulevard, East Broad Street, the Genesee River and Court Street. The site once held the Kimball Tobacco Co. along with other retail premises, and it replaced Edgerton Park Arena. Constructed to honor veterans of World War II, it was dedicated on Memorial Day 1956. The Rochester Royals of the NBA were its first tenant.

Two sports teams use the arena. The Rochester Americans play in the American Hockey League. The Rochester Knighthawks play in the National Lacrosse League. The venue also stages concerts, ice shows and the circus, and its portable stage measures 80 feet by 80 feet.
