Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Low C-shaped canopy

The stands curve around two bends with a long straight and a low canopy, leaving the field open. Print friendly adapts the thin roof edge and railings; Full detail keeps the stepped terraces at a larger size.

  2. Stepped terraces

The seating is modeled as many stepped rows. Printing at 0.12 to 0.16 mm keeps the terrace edges and aisle cuts clean.

  3. One piece with the ground

Dasharath Rangasala is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  4. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  5. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Dasharath Rangasala takes the building color.

  6. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About Dasharath Rangasala

The Dasharath Rangasala in Kathmandu is a multi-purpose ground in the Tripureshwar area. Its name honors Dasharath Chand, one of Nepal's four great martyrs. The ground mainly hosts football and cultural events; it was the sole venue for the first Nepal Super League season, in 2021. It is the biggest stadium in Nepal and has staged many important events.

The ground was built in 1956 on a site that had been a large lotus pond. It was renovated in 1998 for the 1999 South Asian Games and again in 2011 for the 2012 AFC Challenge Cup. Bryan Adams performed a concert there in 2011, and the ground also hosted the 2013 SAFF Championship. After the April 2015 earthquake it was renovated a third time; it reopened on December 1, 2019, for that year's South Asian Games.

On March 13, 1988, the Kathmandu stadium disaster took place during a match between clubs from Nepal and Bangladesh. A hailstorm caused a stampede toward locked exits; at least 93 people died, among them two police officers and a child of 12, and more than 100 were hospitalized. The incident is counted among the worst catastrophes in the history of sport.
