Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Tall side stands, big scoreboard

Two tall stand blocks run along the sides of the oval, with a large scoreboard at one end. Print friendly keeps the thin edges sturdy at small sizes; Full detail suits a larger print with a 0.12–0.16 mm layer height.

  2. One piece with the ground

Estadio Olímpico Metropolitano is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  3. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  4. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Estadio Olímpico Metropolitano takes the building color.

  5. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About Estadio Olímpico Metropolitano

Estadio Olímpico Metropolitano stands in San Pedro Sula, Honduras, and hosts mostly football, though it also has facilities for athletics. Its capacity is 37,325. The sixth Central American Games, held there in 1997, were the reason for its construction.

Jerónimo Sandoval, known as "Chombo" Sandoval, built it. Sandoval had organized the 1997 Central American Olympic Games, an event in San Pedro Sula that caused many controversies. On completion it became the largest stadium in the country, taking that title from Estadio Nacional. The Honduras national football team has treated it as its home ground since the qualifying phase for the 1998 FIFA World Cup, while Estadio Nacional has staged a few matches now and then. By coincidence, a large "H" showed on the stadium's front once it was built, and the shape was painted blue to match the national team's colors.

Oscar Kilgore, a former mayor of San Pedro Sula, tried to rename the stadium for José de la Paz Herrera before leaving office. Herrera was a prominent Honduran football coach, the only one at the time to have taken Honduras to a World Cup. Club Deportivo Marathón heavily opposed the move, and it was abandoned. The first league game was played on March 1, 1998, when Olimpia beat Marathón 3-2.
