9 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- A broad arena roof
An arena this wide and low reads mostly through its roofline and walls at print scale. Scale the print up to keep the roof edge crisp, or let Print friendly adapt the smallest details.
- One piece with the ground
The Forum di Milano is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Forum di Milano takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About the Forum di Milano
The Forum di Milano is an indoor arena at Assago, 3 km from Milan in Italy, standing within the Milanofiori development. It covers 40,000 square meters (430,000 sq ft). Giuseppe Cabassi and his son Luca put it up in 1990, and sponsorship has changed its name repeatedly over the years: FilaForum, DatchForum, MediolanumForum. Seating is officially 12,800, or 15,800 when standing places are added.
Basketball, ice hockey, tennis and concerts are the main business here. The AX Armani Exchange Milan team, which plays in the EuroLeague and Italian Serie A, uses the arena as its home ground. Seating runs through four tiers, with luxury suites as well. Three rounds of renovation have changed the hall; at the 2014 EuroLeague Final Four the hall's capacity rose from 11,500 seats to 12,700, and 2017 brought new signage and a re-graded floor.
Events have included the Men's World Ice Hockey Championships of 1994, the World Amateur Boxing Championships of 2009, the 2018 World Figure Skating Championships and group games in the FIBA EuroBasket 2022. Short-track speed skating and figure skating featured here during the 2026 Winter Olympics. In 1994 the Council of Europe and the Italian National Olympic Committee gave the arena a European Prize for Architecture recognizing sports venues.
