Make this print opens the generator on a 750 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Open bowl with stepped stands

The model is an open bowl of stepped stands around a green field, with a taller block at one end. The stepped rows are the finest part, so a larger print keeps them from blurring together.

  2. Seating tiers

Rows of seats step down around the field. Print friendly adapts the smallest steps to the print scale; layers of 0.12 to 0.16 mm keep the tiers crisp.

  3. One piece with the ground

Levi's Stadium is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  4. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  5. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Levi's Stadium takes the building color.

  6. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About Levi's Stadium

Levi's Stadium is an outdoor venue in Santa Clara, in the San Francisco Bay Area, just west of San Jose and roughly 65 km south of San Francisco. The San Francisco 49ers of the NFL have played home games there since 2014. Levi Strauss & Co. bought the naming rights in 2013, and the stadium carries the company's name.

HNTB, an architectural firm, designed it around the fan experience and green technology, with Winzler & Kelly as civil engineer. The stadium is open to the sky, has a natural grass field and holds 68,500 spectators, with room to reach about 75,000 for major events. Roughly two-thirds of the seats are in the lower bowl, described as one of the biggest of its type in the NFL, and most luxury suites sit on one side of the field.

Photovoltaic panels and a green roof formed part of the design. The stadium earned a Gold LEED certificate as new construction, a first among professional football stadiums in the United States. The Faithful Farm dates from July 2016, when 600 m2 (6,500 square feet) was converted from green roof into an organically maintained rooftop farm. Herbs, tomatoes, peppers and other crops from it go into dishes served in the club spaces.
