Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Flared oval shell

The arena leans outward around a shallow closed roof, with broad cladding blades crossing the facade. Full detail keeps the thin ribbon edges and recessed glazing slots; Print friendly adapts them at smaller sizes.

  2. External stairs

The entrance stair flights project beyond the facade, with layered landings and sloping guards. A larger print, or 0.12 to 0.16 mm layers, helps their edges stay clean.

  3. One piece with the ground

The MVM Dome is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  4. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  5. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The MVM Dome takes the building color.

  6. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About the MVM Dome

The MVM Dome is a multipurpose arena in Budapest, Hungary, and the largest handball arena in Europe. Its formal name is Budapest Multifunctional Arena, and it takes its name from MVM Group; it also goes by the name Budapest Handball Sports Hall. The building stands on the site of a former barracks and opened in December 2021, after construction started on November 29, 2019. The venue was officially proposed in April 2019, after Hungary and Slovakia were chosen to host the men's European championship in 2022.

The European Men's Handball Championship in 2022 and the European Women's Handball Championship in 2024 were both held at the arena. It has a capacity of 20,022 and is home to the Hungarian men's and women's national handball teams. By June 2020 the eight staircases were roughly finished, and work on the roof structure started that October. The construction contract was signed for HUF 78.7 billion net.
