Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. An open bowl

A stadium is a ring of stands around an open field, so the rim and seating rows are the fine parts. A 0.12–0.16 mm layer height keeps the rows crisp, and Print friendly handles thin edges.

  2. One piece with the ground

Navy–Marine Corps Memorial Stadium is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  3. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  4. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Navy–Marine Corps Memorial Stadium takes the building color.

  5. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About Navy–Marine Corps Memorial Stadium

Annapolis, Maryland, is home to Navy–Marine Corps Memorial Stadium, an open-air venue just off the grounds of the United States Naval Academy. It opened in 1959 and hosts home games for Navy Midshipmen college football and lacrosse. The first game, on September 26, 1959, was a win over William & Mary, 29–2. Navy had previously played at Thompson Stadium, a venue seating only 12,000.

The stadium is also a memorial for the Navy and Marine Corps, and is dedicated to people who have served, or will serve, in keeping up the traditions and renown of both services. Thousands of memorial plaques, on bench backs and walls, are meant as a reminder, along with a list of battles fought by the forces of the Navy and Marine Corps since the early 1900s.

The stadium hosted soccer games during the 1984 Summer Olympics. The annual Military Bowl has been played here since 2013. The Washington Capitals hosted the Toronto Maple Leafs here on March 3, 2018, in an outdoor NHL Stadium Series game on an ice surface built for the occasion.
