Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Folded diamond facade

The walls are a folded diamond screen of thin panels, the finest detail in this model. Print friendly adapts them to the print scale; a larger print or 0.12–0.16 mm layers keeps the folds crisp.

  2. Open pitch and low ring

Most of the stadium is a low ring around an open pitch, so the canopy edge is the main line of the print. Print slowly if you scale it up so that edge stays clean.

  3. One piece with the ground

The Stade de Luxembourg is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  4. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  5. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Stade de Luxembourg takes the building color.

  6. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About the Stade de Luxembourg

Luxembourg's national stadium, the Stade de Luxembourg, stands in the Gasperich district of Luxembourg City. It hosts the country's national football and rugby teams and the Coupe de Luxembourg final. UEFA lists it as a Category 4 stadium, a grade that lets it stage international matches. The ground has fully covered seating for 9,386 spectators at sporting events and can take up to 15,000 for concerts.

Construction ran from September 2017 to July 2021, past the original completion target of 2019. Beng Architectes Associés drew up the design with the Hamburg practice Gerkan, Marg and Partners; their entry was chosen from 25 submissions in September 2014. The planned cost at the start of building was 61.1 million euros, later revised to about 80 million euros. The stadium replaced the older Josy Barthel stadium, which was due for demolition.

The ground opened officially on September 1, 2021, when Luxembourg met Azerbaijan in a men's football qualifier for the 2022 FIFA World Cup. An inauguration ceremony followed on September 25. Because the site runs alongside the A6 motorway, the field lies on an east-west axis rather than the usual north-south one, with the main grandstand along the south side. A hybrid grass surface serves football, rugby and occasional concerts.
