Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Faceted roof planes

Many roof planes meet at sharp ridges over the arena. A layer height of 0.12–0.16 mm and a bigger print size keep those ridges crisp.

  2. Stepped stands under the roof

Narrow seating steps sit under the roof edge. Print friendly adapts small details to the print scale; Full detail keeps them on a larger print.

  3. One piece with the ground

Stadio olimpico del ghiaccio is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  4. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  5. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Stadio olimpico del ghiaccio takes the building color.

  6. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About Stadio olimpico del ghiaccio

Cortina d'Ampezzo, Italy, is home to Stadio Olimpico del Ghiaccio (Olympic Ice Stadium in English), an indoor arena. Workers built it between 1952 and 1954, mainly as an outdoor arena for figure skating, sized for seven to eight thousand spectators, with temporary arrangements possible for twelve to fifteen thousand during the Olympics. It was inaugurated on October 26, 1955, and a roof was added sometime after 1981.

At the 1956 Winter Olympics the venue hosted both ceremonies (opening and closing), the figure skating events and some ice hockey games. The stadium also appears in the 1981 James Bond film For Your Eyes Only, in a scene where Bond, played by Roger Moore, meets the villain Aris Kristatos.
