14 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Low bowl, long roofline
A stadium is wide and shallow next to a tower, so most of the model's height sits in the stands and the roof edge. Layers of 0.12 to 0.16 mm keep that edge crisp.
- Print bigger for the tiers
At the default size the roof edge and the low structures around it press into a narrow band. A larger print gives them room; Full detail keeps the finer roofline, Print friendly adapts it.
- One piece with the ground
The Sydney Football Stadium (2022) is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Sydney Football Stadium (2022) takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About the Sydney Football Stadium (2022)
The Sydney Football Stadium stands in Moore Park, a suburb of Sydney. Allianz Stadium is its name under a naming-rights deal. Rugby league, rugby union and soccer are the main sports played there, and three clubs treat it as their home ground: the Sydney Roosters (National Rugby League), the New South Wales Waratahs (Super Rugby) and Sydney FC (A-League Men). It opened in 2022, in place of an earlier stadium that carried the same name.
It cost $828 million and took three years to build, and it seats 42,500 spectators. The NSW Government owns the ground and Venues NSW runs it, while Allianz, an insurance and finance company, holds the naming rights. Sport on the site goes back a long way: a military rifle range occupied it in the late 19th century, the Sydney Sports Ground opened in 1903, and in 1988 the original Sydney Football Stadium replaced it.
Six matches of the Women's World Cup were played there in 2023, when it was one of the venues. Concerts followed soon after opening, among them two by Bruno Mars and two by Elton John. A gym and wellness center, the Sporting Club of Sydney, was built beside it under a separate contract, and three bays at the northern end can be converted from seats to standing rails. Demolition of the old ground began on March 8, 2019, and John Holland built the replacement, starting on April 15, 2020.
