Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Mansard roof and rooftop masts

A row of small dormers lines the mansard roof, and thin masts and boxes stand above it. Print friendly adapts these small parts to the print scale; Full detail keeps them on a larger print.

  2. Ornate lower floors

Arched openings and decorative bands cover the lower facade. A layer height of 0.12–0.16 mm and a bigger print size keep them crisp.

  3. One piece with the ground

1 Broadway is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  4. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  5. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. 1 Broadway takes the building color.

  6. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About 1 Broadway

Twelve stories tall, 1 Broadway is an office building in Manhattan's Financial District, standing where Battery Place meets Broadway, with Bowling Green on its east side and the Battery to the south. Its earlier names include the Washington Building, the International Mercantile Marine Company Building and the United States Lines Building.

The Washington Building went up in 1882 in the Queen Anne style, designed by Edward H. Kendall, replacing the Washington Hotel on its site. In 1919, the International Mercantile Marine Company (IMM) took over the building as its headquarters and remade it heavily in a Neoclassical style, with a facade by Walter B. Chambers. IMM, and later its successor United States Lines, kept their headquarters there until 1979.

Buff-colored Indiana limestone covers the facade from the ground through the 12th story, replacing the original red Milwaukee brick and sandstone. A copper mansard roof crowns the building. The main Broadway entrance has carved reliefs of Mercury and Neptune. The National Register of Historic Places listed the building in 1991, and New York City designated it a landmark in 1995.
