13 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Small rooftop feature
The small round feature at the top is the most delicate part of the model. Print friendly adapts it to the print scale; Full detail and a larger print keep more of it.
- One piece with the ground
1 William Street is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. 1 William Street takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About 1 William Street
1 William Street, an office building in Lower Manhattan's Financial District, was once the J. & W. Seligman & Company Building, then the Lehman Brothers Building, and it is also known as the Banca Commerciale Italiana Building. Francis H. Kimball designed it with Julian Clarence Levi, and it was erected in 1906–1907.
A prominent German Jewish family, the Seligmans, had it created and founded the investment bank J. & W. Seligman. Lehman Brothers, another investment bank, used it as its headquarters from 1929 to 1980, and the building was bought afterward by Banca Commerciale Italiana.
This 11-story building, limestone-clad over a steel frame, sits where William, South William and Beaver Streets meet in a five-pointed intersection, on that intersection's southern corner. The lot is a quadrilateral, with an acute angle where South William Street (west) meets William Street (east). The city's Landmarks Preservation Commission made it a landmark in 1996, and in 2007 it was counted as contributing to the Wall Street Historic District.
