8 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Fine facade ornament
The street front carries rows of small columns and a pediment at the roofline. Choose Full detail with a larger print size and a thin layer height to keep them crisp.
- One piece with the ground
109 Prince Street is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. 109 Prince Street takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About 109 Prince Street
109 Prince Street sits on the Greene Street corner, where it is numbered 119, in SoHo, a neighborhood of Manhattan, New York City. It is a historic cast-iron building, put up in 1882–83. Jarvis Morgan Slade was its designer, and the style is French Renaissance.
Cheney & Hewlett, an architectural iron works firm, supplied the cast-iron facade. The building was originally a store, and some have called it among the world's most striking gems of 19th century cast iron architecture. Kapell & Kostow, an architecture firm, restored it completely in 1993. The next year, New York City's Landmarks Preservation Commission gave it a Landmark Certificate of Merit. The SoHo - Cast Iron Historic District contains it.
