  1. Long arched roof and towers

A very long, curved roof runs behind a front of small towers and turrets. Full detail keeps the turrets and arched openings; Print friendly adapts the smallest ones at small sizes.

  2. One piece with the ground

The 14th Regiment Armory is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  3. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  4. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The 14th Regiment Armory takes the building color.

  5. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About the 14th Regiment Armory

The 14th Regiment Armory, a National Guard armory, stands in Brooklyn's South Slope neighborhood, on Eighth Avenue from 14th Street to 15th Street. It also goes by the names Eighth Avenue Armory and Park Slope Armory. The building is a castle-like structure of brick and stone, designed to recall medieval military buildings in Europe. William A. Mundell designed it in the Late Victorian style, and it was built in 1891–95.

It was constructed for the New York State Militia's 14th Regiment, with the nicknames "Fighting Fourteenth" and "Red-Legged Devils". The regiment took part in numerous battles in the American Civil War, and a law passed in 1862 called for armories to be built across the state.

From the 1980s the armory has been used as a women's homeless shelter, and it also houses a YMCA sports facility and a museum for veterans. It has a National Register of Historic Places listing from 1994, and New York City designated it a landmark in 1998.
