Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Mansard roof with dormers

The top of the house has a mansard roof with ornate dormers and a decorated roofline. Full detail keeps these small shapes on a larger print; Print friendly adapts them for small sizes.

  2. A narrow house among large buildings

Most of the house is hidden between much taller neighbors, so a bigger print size and a layer height of 0.12–0.16 mm help keep the facade legible.

  3. One piece with the ground

19 Gramercy Park South is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  4. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  5. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. 19 Gramercy Park South takes the building color.

  6. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About 19 Gramercy Park South

Known too as 86 Irving Place and the Stuyvesant Fish House, 19 Gramercy Park South is a row house of four stories, standing where Gramercy Park South (East 20th Street) meets Irving Place in Manhattan. William Samuel Johnson, a Whig politician, built it in 1845, when its address was 86 Irving Place. Horace Brooks later bought it, added a fifth story and built a stable on a vacant southern part of the lot.

In 1887, architect Stanford White expanded and altered the modest property, at a cost of $130,000, creating a mansion that included a marble staircase inside and a ballroom on its top floor, where Mamie Fish hosted lavish parties for New York society. It then took the new number 19 Gramercy Park, an address that had not existed before.

In 1909, an apartment building of six stories rose on the lot's southern portion. Publicist Benjamin Sonnenberg rented the first two floors in 1931 and bought the whole building in 1945. He merged it with the apartment house next door on the south, making a very large residence. The Gramercy Park Historic District listed the building as a contributing property in 1966.
