Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Window grid and roof details
The facade is covered in window openings and the flat roof carries small structures. Print friendly adapts these small parts to the print scale; Full detail keeps them on a larger print.
- One piece with the ground
27 West 67th Street is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. 27 West 67th Street takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About 27 West 67th Street
Also known as 67th Street Studios, 27 West 67th Street is a cooperative apartment building within the West 67th Street Artists' Colony. It lies close to Lincoln Square, on Manhattan's Upper West Side in New York City. Construction finished late in 1902, and the building opened in March 1903 with studio apartments of both large and small sizes.
Artist Henry Ward Ranger designed the building, and an association of his fellow artists financed it. His innovative plan combined compact two-level apartments with big studios facing north. The association became a corporation whose finances followed a cooperative model: it built and ran the building, while the artist-investors leased the studio apartments they used.
The project was an immediate success and soon led other artist-investors to fund comparable studio co-ops close by. Work began early in 1901, with Sturgis and Simonson as the architects. After a thorough restoration in 1995, the architectural historian Christopher Gray called it one of the most significant apartment houses in the city's history.
