Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Narrow facade, fine detail

The facade is a narrow front with small repeating details. Use a larger print or Full detail to keep them, and a layer height of 0.12–0.16 mm for crisp vertical lines.

  2. One piece with the ground

319 Broadway is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  3. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  4. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. 319 Broadway takes the building color.

  5. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About 319 Broadway

Known also by the name Metropolitan Life Insurance Company Home Office, 319 Broadway is a five-story office building in Manhattan. Its site is the Tribeca corner where Broadway meets Thomas Street. It is a cast-iron Italianate building, from 1869–70, to designs by D. & J. Jardine. It was designated a New York City landmark on August 29, 1989.

Of the two buildings at 317 and 319, known as the "Thomas Twins," only this one remains. Architectural Iron Works, run by Daniel D. Badger, supplied the cast iron. Until 1971 the two stood facing one another; that year 317 Broadway was demolished.

It measures 25 feet (7.6 m) on Broadway and 105 feet (32 m) on Thomas Street. Faced in cast iron, it keeps many of its windows as original wood sash windows in a two-over-two arrangement. Its arched windows are flanked by Corinthian columns and capped by scrolled keystones, under a projecting cornice with dentils and scrolled brackets.
