7 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Repeating facade columns
The street fronts show rows of narrow columns and window frames under a projecting cornice. Print friendly adapts them to the print scale; Full detail on a larger print keeps more of the rhythm.
- One piece with the ground
462 Broadway is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. 462 Broadway takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About 462 Broadway
The commercial building at 462 Broadway stands between Crosby and Grand Streets, on Broadway, in SoHo, in Lower Manhattan, New York City. Other names for the same building are the Mills & Gibb Building, 30 Crosby Street and 120-132 Grand Street. John Correja designed it, and its cast-iron structure, dated 1879–1880, follows the French Renaissance style, while polished red granite covers the ground floor.
The site had earlier occupants. In 1828 an elegant residence was erected on the site, afterward called the Broadway House, which for many years carried the name Whig Headquarters. A cast-iron building for Brooks Brothers later occupied the same spot. After that building was demolished, the Mills & Gibb building went up in its place.
