Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Clock tower and wide eaves

The clock tower has a pyramid roof, and the main roof overhangs the walls. Print friendly adapts these edges to the print scale; a bigger print and Full detail keep the clock faces readable.

  2. Patterned brick and arches

Diamond patterns and round arches decorate the walls. A layer height of 0.12–0.16 mm keeps this relief crisp.

  3. One piece with the ground

The 52nd Police Precinct Station is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  4. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  5. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The 52nd Police Precinct Station takes the building color.

  6. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About the 52nd Police Precinct Station

Norwood, a section of the Bronx, is home to the 52nd Police Precinct Station, a historic police station. Built in 1904–1906, it has three stories of red brick, measures approximately 50 feet by 80 feet, and follows the Tuscan villa style. Its clock tower is 21 feet square, with large clock faces of polychrome terracotta on three sides.

The station was built because police protection was increasingly needed once New York City annexed the area in 1898 and its population began to grow. It was first the 41st precinct and became the 52nd in the city-wide renumbering of 1929. The architects, Stoughton & Stoughton, came from Mount Vernon, New York. New York City designated the building a Landmark in 1974, and in 1982 it was added to the National Register of Historic Places.
