Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Setbacks and rooftop details

The upper floors step back and carry small roof structures. Layers of 0.12–0.16 mm keep these crisp; a larger print or Full detail keeps more of them.

  2. One piece with the ground

737 Park Avenue is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  3. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  4. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. 737 Park Avenue takes the building color.

  5. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About 737 Park Avenue

A prewar apartment house on Manhattan’s Upper East Side, 737 Park Avenue stands on the corner of 71st Street. Sam Minskoff and Sons built it in 1940 to a design by the Art Deco architect Sylvan Bien. Its walls are traditional red brick over a limestone base, and it has a marble lobby and a 24-hour doorman.

The building first held more than 100 apartments; after renovation it has 60. The Whitney Museum, The Frick Collection and Central Park are all nearby, as is The Carlyle Hotel, which Bien also designed. In 2011 the building was sold to the real estate developer Harry Macklowe.
