9 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 650 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- A round rotunda with columns
A round rotunda with a ring of thin columns sits at the center. Print friendly adapts those thin columns to your print scale; Full detail keeps them, best on a larger print.
- Long terraced wings
The wings are long and low, with fine terrace rails and small rooftop boxes. A layer height of 0.12 to 0.16 mm keeps those lines crisp.
- One piece with the ground
800 Westchester Avenue is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. 800 Westchester Avenue takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About 800 Westchester Avenue
800 Westchester Avenue is a postmodern Class A office complex in Rye Brook, New York. The architectural firm Kevin Roche John Dinkeloo and Associates designed it to be General Foods' corporate headquarters. It has been described as an "Aztec temple" and an "aluminum business palace", and it is known for a distinctive exterior of glass and white aluminum.
General Foods first conceived the building in 1979 as a symbol of the company's aggressive approach to consumer products packaging and marketing. When it opened in 1983, General Foods moved 2,000 headquarters staff there from nearby White Plains. The complex was sold to the IJNR Group, led by Robert Weisz, in 2004 for 40 million dollars, the biggest real estate deal in Westchester County that year.
The complex is noted for corporate amenities such as a hair salon, a barber shop, a television studio, a fitness center and conference facilities. Tenant spaces range from 1,500 up to 120,000 sq ft (11,000 m2). The building also appears in the show Mr. Robot, as the headquarters of a fictional data security company.
