Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Pointed roof on the corner tower

The round corner tower ends in a slim pointed roof, the finest part of the model. Print friendly adapts it to the print scale; a larger print or Full detail keeps the tip, and a slow print helps it cool.

  2. Battlement-style roofline

The roofline has a row of small notches. A layer height of 0.12–0.16 mm keeps them crisp, and a larger print size keeps them distinct.

  3. One piece with the ground

The 83rd Precinct Police Station is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  4. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  5. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The 83rd Precinct Police Station takes the building color.

  6. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About the 83rd Precinct Police Station

In Bushwick, Brooklyn, a historic police station and stable occupies a corner site at DeKalb and Wilson Avenues. The complex's formal name adds the stable: 83rd Precinct Police Station and Stable. William Tubby designed it, and it went up in 1894, in Romanesque Revival style.

New York City's Landmarks Preservation Commission designated the building a landmark in 1977. In 1982 it was added to the National Register of Historic Places. The site sits in Bushwick, a neighborhood of Brooklyn in New York City, at the corner of two avenues.
