6 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Crenellated towers with pinnacles
Two square towers carry crenellated tops and small corner pinnacles. Print friendly adapts these thin points to the print scale; Full detail keeps them, better on a larger print with a 0.12–0.16 mm layer height.
- One piece with the ground
Abyssinian Baptist Church is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Abyssinian Baptist Church takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About Abyssinian Baptist Church
Abyssinian Baptist Church, a Baptist megachurch, is in the Harlem neighborhood of Manhattan, on West 138th Street at number 132, between Lenox Avenue and Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Boulevard. Its affiliations are American Baptist Churches USA and the National Baptist Convention, USA. Its role in African-American spirituality, politics and community life has been influential.
The congregation began after Ethiopian seamen who were visiting, along with free African-American parishioners, walked out of the First Baptist Church to protest being limited to racially segregated seating. They named the new congregation Abyssinian after the historic name for Ethiopia, and it met in several places before building its present church.
Designed by Charles W. Bolton & Son, the present building dates from 1922 and 1923 and mixes Tudor Revival with Gothic Revival; it has also been called "Collegiate Gothic". Stained glass windows and marble furnishings are among its features. On July 13, 1993, New York City designated the church and its community house a landmark. Among its prominent ministers were Calvin O. Butts, Samuel DeWitt Proctor and both Adam Clayton Powells, Sr. and Jr.
