9 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Rose windows and a bell tower
The church side walls carry rows of small round windows and a bell tower rises above the roofs. Full detail keeps the window ring pattern, best with a larger print and 0.12–0.16 mm layers.
- One piece with the ground
All Saints Church is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. All Saints Church takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About All Saints Church
In Harlem, at 47 East 129th Street where it meets Madison Avenue, stands the historic former Catholic Church of All Saints, in the Archdiocese of New York. Construction ran from 1883 to 1886, and the architects Renwick, Aspinwall and Russell are credited with the design, although historian Michael Henry Adams attributes it directly to James Renwick Jr.
Also part of the complex are a parish house (1886–89) and a school (1902), the school the work of Renwick's nephew, William W. Renwick. In January 2007 the city's Landmarks Preservation Commission designated the whole complex a landmark.
Size and design earned the church the nickname "St. Patrick's of Harlem." Its brick walls have terracotta trimming, and the style is Gothic Revival or, alternatively, Venetian Gothic. Rose windows line the clerestory, and a bell tower stands out. The parish began in October 1879, intended originally for the neighborhood's Irish immigrants, and over time it became predominantly African American and Nigerian.
