Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Leaning towers

The two towers lean toward each other, so the walls slope rather than run straight up. Slow printing and 0.12-0.16 mm layers keep the tilted facade lines clean.

  2. Fine facade panels

The facades carry many small staggered panels. Print friendly adapts them to your print scale; Full detail keeps every panel, which suits a larger print.

  3. One piece with the ground

The American Copper Buildings is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  4. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  5. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The American Copper Buildings takes the building color.

  6. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About the American Copper Buildings

Two luxury residential skyscrapers make up this complex in Manhattan's Murray Hill neighborhood, which has also been called The Copper and 626 First Avenue. JDS Development developed it and SHoP Architects designed it, and SHoP and K&Co. also handled the interiors. Before the towers, the lot was home to the Kips Bay Generating Station, operated by Consolidated Edison.

Developer Sheldon Solow, who had bought the site, sold the remaining 35th Street plot to JDS and Largo in 2013. JDS built the towers between 2014 and 2016. The first to open to renters was American Copper West, in April 2017, followed by American Copper East in late 2018. The buildings hold 761 rental units, and 20% of those are affordable.

Copper clads the north and south faces, and the east and west faces are glass from floor to ceiling. The towers are shaped to look as if they bend toward one another and "dance" together. A three-story skybridge ties them together on floors 27, 28 and 29, roughly 300 feet (91 m) above the ground. The east tower is 470 feet (140 m) tall, and its west counterpart 540 feet (160 m).

About this model

The American Copper Buildings is one of more than 4,300 landmark models in Mini Skyline. They are made with AI, and each one is checked from four sides in its real surroundings before release.
