Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Slim portico columns

The four tall columns of the entrance portico are the finest vertical parts. Print friendly adapts them to the print scale; a larger print or Full detail keeps all four distinct.

  2. Cornice and rooftop boxes

A small cornice runs around the roof, which also carries a few boxy structures. A layer height of 0.12–0.16 mm keeps these roof details crisp.

  3. One piece with the ground

Barnard Hall is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  4. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  5. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Barnard Hall takes the building color.

  6. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About Barnard Hall

Student's Hall was the original name of Barnard Hall, a historic educational building on the Barnard College campus in Morningside Heights, New York. Arnold W. Brunner and Buchman & Fox designed it in 1916, and it holds classrooms. It rises four stories above a raised basement.

Its walls are dark red brick, trimmed in white limestone and terra cotta. The design blends Italian Renaissance massing and detail with touches inspired by Colonial Revival architecture. At the front, a limestone portico three stories high carries four monumental Corinthian columns. In 2003 the hall was added to the National Register of Historic Places.
