Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Crowned tower beside the theater

The model rises in stepped blocks to a small arched crown. Print friendly adapts that crown to the print scale; Full detail keeps its arches, better for a larger print with a 0.12–0.16 mm layer height.

  2. One piece with the ground

The Beacon Theatre is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  3. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  4. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Beacon Theatre takes the building color.

  5. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About the Beacon Theatre

Next to the Hotel Beacon, at 2124 Broadway in Manhattan's Upper West Side neighborhood, the Beacon Theatre is a venue for entertainment that opened in 1929. Samuel "Roxy" Rothafel developed it as a movie palace seating 2,894 across three levels. Walter W. Ahlschlager was the architect, and his decorations drew on Rococo, Renaissance, Ancient Greek and Ancient Roman styles.

The brick-and-stone facade is relatively plain, topped at the Broadway entrance by a marquee. Beneath the hotel lies a rotunda lobby. The auditorium sits in a neighboring structure toward the east end of the site, close to 75th Street and Amsterdam Avenue. Greek columns frame the proscenium arch, and a Wurlitzer organ occupies the orchestra pit.

Planning started in January 1927 under the name Roxy Midway Theatre. After Roxy withdrew, Warner Bros. took over and opened the house on December 24, 1929. Live shows began in 1966, and a rock venue followed in 1974. Over the years it has hosted concerts, long residencies such as those of the Allman Brothers Band, and the Tony Awards ceremony. The interior is a New York City landmark, and the theater has a National Register of Historic Places listing.
