Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Low, wide station buildings

A station is low and spread out, so small details such as roofs and entrances are tiny at this scale. A larger print or Full detail with a fine nozzle keeps more of them.

  2. One piece with the ground

Berlin-Wedding station is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  3. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  4. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Berlin-Wedding station takes the building color.

  5. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About Berlin-Wedding station

Berlin-Wedding station is in the Wedding locality of Berlin, where the S41 and S42 S-Bahn lines and the U6 U-Bahn line call. The Berlin Ringbahn, a circular line through the city's central districts, includes the S-Bahn station, which first opened on May 1, 1872.

The building of the Berlin Wall in 1961 disrupted service, and the S-Bahn station closed in 1980 as passenger numbers dropped too low to sustain the route. After the Wall fell, many unused S-Bahn routes returned to service step by step. The stretch between Westhafen and Gesundbrunnen, with Wedding as its only intermediate station, was the last to reopen, on June 16, 2002. That date was nicknamed Wedding-Day, a pun on the English and German meanings of the word.

The U-Bahn station opened on March 8, 1923 together with the whole newly built line, under the name Bahnhof Wedding, which reflected a connection to the next-door station for long-distance trains. It was renamed in 1972 and has become much more significant since 2002, the year the link to the S-Bahn came back.

About this model

Berlin-Wedding station is one of more than 5,500 landmark models in Mini Skyline. They are made with AI, and each one is checked from four sides in its real surroundings before release. Each model is written as code from public descriptions, plans, photographs and aerial views used only as references; no image or third-party model is copied into it. Everything around it is built from OpenStreetMap and Overture map data. Rights in the building itself, its name and any brands on it are not granted by Mini Skyline; clear them separately before you sell prints. If you would rather print the shape from map data, turn off Landmark models in the Buildings settings.
