14 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Layer height for small details
A layer height of 0.12–0.16 mm keeps small details crisp. Print friendly adapts thin parts at small sizes; Full detail suits large prints.
- One piece with the ground
The Biblioteca Nazionale Vittorio Emanuele III is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Biblioteca Nazionale Vittorio Emanuele III takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About the Biblioteca Nazionale Vittorio Emanuele III
Italy's Biblioteca Nazionale Vittorio Emanuele III fills the eastern wing of the Palazzo Reale in Naples, a palace of the 18th century, at 1 Piazza del Plebiscito, with further entrances from piazza Trieste e Trento. By size it ranks third among libraries in Italy, behind the national libraries of Rome and Florence.
The collections run to 1,480,747 printed volumes and 319,187 pamphlets, along with 18,415 manuscripts, 4,500 incunabula, more than 8,000 periodicals and the 1,800 Herculaneum papyri. Manuscripts from the Austrian National Library were also transferred here, among them the Naples Dioscurides.
The library began in the Palazzo degli Studi at the close of the 18th century, around books from the Palazzo Capodimonte that Carlo di Borbone moved to Naples in 1734. It opened to the public in 1804 as the Reale Biblioteca di Napoli, became the Reale Biblioteca Borbonica in 1816, and took the name Biblioteca Nazionale after the unification of Italy in 1860. In 1922 it moved into the Palazzo Reale, granted by King Victor Emmanuel III, after whom it is still named. An earthquake in 1980 seriously damaged one wing.
