About Binion's Gambling Hall and Hotel
Binion's Gambling Hall & Hotel, once called Binion's Horseshoe, is a casino in Downtown Las Vegas, in Nevada. It stands on Fremont Street, next to the Fremont Street Experience pedestrian mall. Founder Benny Binion gave it his name, and his family ran it from its 1951 start until 2004. TLC Casino Enterprises owns it.
In 1951 Benny Binion purchased the Eldorado Club and the Hotel Apache, and reopened them as Binion's Horseshoe. Low ceilings and velvet wallpaper gave the interior a frontier feel. Among downtown Las Vegas casinos it was the first to lay carpeting in place of sawdust-covered floors, and the first to give comps to all gamblers rather than only big bettors. Its craps limit began at $500, ten times what any other Las Vegas casino allowed then.
Beginning in 1970, Jack Binion put on the World Series of Poker at the Horseshoe. In 1988 the casino took over The Mint, which was a high-rise hotel to its west. The 366-room hotel closed in 2009, and in July 2019 TLC reopened 81 of its rooms as a boutique hotel, Hotel Apache.
How it prints
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

- Tower rising from a podium
- A narrow tower stands above a wider, stepped base crowded with small rooftop details. Print friendly adapts the tiny roof pieces to the print scale; Full detail keeps them on larger prints.
- Fine window rows
- Rows of windows run up the tower's faces. A layer height of 0.12–0.16 mm keeps these vertical lines crisp, and a bigger print size keeps the rows distinct.
- One piece with the ground
- Binion's Gambling Hall and Hotel is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
- In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
- Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Binion's Gambling Hall and Hotel takes the building color.
- File format
- You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
