83 m of the Bowling Green Offices Building, 23 mm on your shelf
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Upper tower and mansard roof
The smaller tower with its sloped roof near the top is the most delicate part of the model. Print friendly adapts it to the print scale; Full detail keeps more of it on a larger print.
- One piece with the ground
The Bowling Green Offices Building is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Bowling Green Offices Building takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About the Bowling Green Offices Building
Also called 11 Broadway, the Bowling Green Offices Building faces Bowling Green park in Manhattan's Financial District. Erected between 1895 and 1898, it has 21 stories and stands 83.1 m (272.5 ft) tall. Its Hellenic Renaissance-style design is by W. & G. Audsley.
The design reads as three horizontal parts, like the base, shaft and capital of a column. The base has a granite facade and the upper stories white brick. Inside is a skeleton of structural steel, and the floor plan makes the most of natural light. The building is U-shaped, and an upper tower has a buff-colored brick and terracotta facade under a copper mansard roof.
It began as a 16-story structure for the Broadway Realty Company, which owned it for several decades. Its first tenants were steamship offices, a choice tied to the proximity of New York Harbor, and law firms and other companies came later. Five stories were added later to reach 21. The city designated it an official landmark in 1995, and the Wall Street Historic District counts it as a contributing property.
