2 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Fine siding and window detail
Narrow clapboard siding and the paired store windows are fine surface detail on a small building. Print friendly adapts them to the print scale; Full detail keeps them on a larger print.
- One piece with the ground
The Burton Store is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Burton Store takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About the Burton Store
In Tappan, New York, the Burton Store sits inside the Tappan Historic District. It once served as the village's general store, and a chiropractor's practice has occupied it since 1985. Its neighbors include The Old 76 House next door and The Manse Barn, which is on the opposite side of the street.
Only two buildings in the district use the Colonial Revival style: the Burton Store and the nearby Borcher's Stable, at 2 Oak Tree Road. Such buildings mark the last building phase of the district's period of significance, in the early part of the twentieth century. The National Register text calls it a large, one-story building with a flat roof and narrow clapboard siding.
Glazed double doors sit between large transom and side lights, and paired store windows with panels below stand on each side of the entrance. A dropped cornice carries a denticulated frieze with triglyphs. Originally called The Apartment House, the building stood roughly a block to the west until a move in the early 1920s, after which it became the grocery of Burton & Sons. It was restored in 1982-1983.
About this model
