  1. Fire escapes and cornice

The fire escapes and the projecting cornice are fine, shallow details. Print friendly adapts them to the print scale; Full detail and a larger print keep more of them.

  2. One piece with the ground

Casa Amadeo, antigua Casa Hernandez is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  3. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  4. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Casa Amadeo, antigua Casa Hernandez takes the building color.

  5. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About Casa Amadeo, antigua Casa Hernandez

Casa Amadeo, antigua Casa Hernández is a Latin music store that opened in 1941 and is described as the oldest one in continuous occupation in both New York City and the Bronx. It is located in a historic apartment house in Longwood, Bronx, called The Manhaset, which James F. Meehan designed and which was built in 1905.

The Neo-Renaissance building is six stories tall, with shops on the first floor. Rusticated stone covers the lower two stories, with red brick above. An entrance porch projects from the front, flanked by columns of the Corinthian order. The grassroots organization Banana Kelly manages the building and has worked on buildings in Longwood since the 1970s, rehabilitating and maintaining them.

Siblings Victoria Hernández and Rafael Hernández founded Almacenes Hernández in 1927, which was the first music store in New York City owned by Puerto Ricans. Casa Hernández, their second store, followed in 1941. Musician and composer Mike Amadeo (Miguel Ángel Amadeo) bought it in 1969 and gave it the name Casa Amadeo, antigua Casa Hernández. The National Register of Historic Places added it in 2001.
