- Castle walls and entrance
A castle reads through its walls, roofline and small details. Print friendly adapts small parts to the print scale; Full detail keeps them for a larger print or a finer nozzle.
- One piece with the ground
Castel Capuano is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Castel Capuano takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About Castel Capuano
Castel Capuano, a castle in Naples, in southern Italy, takes its name from the spot in the city wall where the road left for Capua. Its site is at via dei Tribunali's southwest end. The castle housed the Naples Hall of Justice before the hall moved to the Centro Direzionale, the city's new civic center.
William I built the structure in the 12th century. He was Roger II of Sicily's son and the first ruler of the Kingdom of Naples. Frederick II of Hohenstaufen later enlarged it and used it as one of his royal palaces. On August 19, 1432, four of the Queen's knights stabbed Sergianni Caracciolo in his room at the castle.
Under Pedro Álvarez de Toledo, the Spanish viceroy, the city's legal offices and departments were gathered here in the 16th century. It became the Vicaria, the Hall of Justice, and its basements held a prison. Over the entrance, the arms of Charles V are still visible; the emperor visited Naples in 1535. Restoration in many periods, including one as late as 1860, has left little of the original appearance. At the rear, facing Piazza Enrico de Nicola, stands the Fontana del Formiello.
