Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Cupola and cross on the roof

The small cupola with its cross is the thinnest part of the model. Print slowly with good cooling, or use a larger print size, so the tip does not blur.

  2. Columned entrance

The front porch has slim columns and steps. Full detail keeps them separate at larger sizes; Print friendly thickens them for smaller prints.

  3. One piece with the ground

The Cathedral of St Vincent de Paul, Malankara Catholic is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  4. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  5. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Cathedral of St Vincent de Paul, Malankara Catholic takes the building color.

  6. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About the Cathedral of St Vincent de Paul, Malankara Catholic

In Elmont, New York, St Vincent de Paul Cathedral serves as the seat for the Syro-Malankara Catholic Eparchy of the USA and Canada. Its roots lie with Syro-Malankara Catholics, part of the Malayalis community that emigrated from India to North America during the 1960s and 1970s. Many settled in New York City.

Early worship took place in a basement at Guardian Angel School in Manhattan, arranged by Chorbishop John Melamparampil, who was appointed first Coordinator of the Malankarites in the United States. St John Chrysostom Malankara Catholic Church began as a Long Island mission, founded November 7, 1993. In Elmont on November 13, 2011, it was made a parish at the Roman Catholic church of St Vincent de Paul.

The cathedral parish was founded on September 8, 2013, by Baselios Cleemis, Major Archbishop for the Syro-Malankara Catholic Church, together with Thomas Mar Eusebius. It was formed by merging the Long Island parish of St John Chrysostom with St Basil's parish in Queens. The exarchate was raised to eparchial status on January 4, 2016, and Philipos Stephanos became the second bishop, installed on October 28, 2017.
