About Central Park Place
The residential condominium tower Central Park Place stands at 301 West 57th Street, on the northwest corner with Eighth Avenue, in Manhattan's Hell's Kitchen and Midtown neighborhoods. Davis Brody Bond designed it, and it is 191 m (628 ft) tall with 56 stories. Its facade is gray-green glass and aluminum panels, in a color scheme meant to link it with nearby Central Park. William Zeckendorf Jr. developed it, and he began buying land for it in 1982. The tower was completed in 1988 and was almost fully occupied within two years.
The lot is nearly square, covering 932.9 m2 (10,042 sq ft) and measuring 30.48 by 30.48 m (100 by 100 ft). The lowest six stories fill the whole lot, and the upper stories are smaller. Most apartments have bay windows stretching almost the whole height of each floor. The windows measure 4.9 by 2.7 m (16 by 9 ft) and stand out from the facade as three-sided windows. Several cantilevers off the facade give some of the side apartments views of Central Park.
The tower holds 300 condominium apartments, ranging from studios to two-bedroom units, and four penthouses, the largest a 390 m2 (4,200 sq ft) unit on the 53rd floor. Amenities include a swimming pool, a health and fitness club for residents, a party room, a dining room for residents and four guest rooms. Judith Stockman and Associates designed the lobby, using wooden wainscoting, brass ornamentation and marble surfaces to relate it to Central Park.
How it prints
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

- A slim, stepped tower
- The tower is slim for its height, and its upper floors step back in small tiers. Printing slowly with good cooling helps the tall shape stay clean; Full detail keeps every step, which suits a larger print.
- Fine ribs and window rows
- Fine vertical ribs and rows of windows cover the walls. A layer height of 0.12 to 0.16 mm and a bigger print size keep them crisp, while Print friendly softens the very finest lines.
- One piece with the ground
- Central Park Place is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
- In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
- Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Central Park Place takes the building color.
- File format
- You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About this model
Central Park Place is one of more than 2,300 landmark models in Mini Skyline. They are made with AI, and each one is checked from four sides in its real surroundings before release. Common questions
Is there a Central Park Place STL I can download?
Mini Skyline builds the file for you in your browser and exports 3MF, which every major slicer opens. If you need an STL, open the 3MF in your slicer and export it from there.
How big can I print it?
Any print size from 40 mm across. Central Park Place grows with the print: about 52 mm tall on the default 160 mm print. For a model larger than your printer bed, Project Mode splits the area into tiles.
Is it free?
Yes. Generation runs in your browser, with no account and nothing behind a paywall.
