Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Slim spire and small crosses

A slim spire with a cross rises from the roof ridge, and small crosses top a few other points. Print friendly adapts them to the print scale; a layer height of 0.12–0.16 mm keeps the tips crisp.

  2. Finely ribbed roof

Both long roof slopes carry a fine pattern of rows. A larger print size or Full detail keeps that pattern visible.

  3. One piece with the ground

Christ Church, Oyster Bay is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  4. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  5. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Christ Church, Oyster Bay takes the building color.

  6. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About Christ Church, Oyster Bay

In Oyster Bay, New York, the historic Episcopal parish of Christ Church was founded in 1705; its address is 61 East Main Street. Several church buildings have stood on the site over the years, among them one that housed soldiers as barracks during the Revolutionary War. That building was occupied by British and Hessian forces and was demolished in 1801.

The present church began as a wood structure built in 1878 in the Carpenter Gothic style. Its wood trusses can still be seen inside. A 1925 project enlarged it considerably and wrapped it in stone, and the additions included stained glass windows modeled after Chartres Cathedral in France. A Hellmuth Wolff pipe organ was installed in 1986.

President Theodore Roosevelt attended services here, and his wife and children took an active part in the congregation. A funeral service for Roosevelt was held at the church in 1919. The church was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2018, and its history includes several earlier buildings on the same site.
