Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Twin bell towers

The two front towers have open belfry arches and pointed caps. Print slowly with a layer height of 0.12 to 0.16 mm so the tower tops stay crisp; Print friendly adapts thin parts to the print scale.

  2. Arcades and small crosses

Rows of small arches run along the sides, and a cross tops the front gable. Full detail keeps these small features, and a larger print size helps them stay readable.

  3. One piece with the ground

The Co-Cathedral of St. Joseph, Brooklyn is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  4. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  5. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Co-Cathedral of St. Joseph, Brooklyn takes the building color.

  6. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About the Co-Cathedral of St. Joseph, Brooklyn

The Co-Cathedral of St. Joseph belongs to the Roman Catholic Diocese of Brooklyn. It sits at 856 Pacific Street in Brooklyn's Prospect Heights, between Vanderbilt Avenue and Underhill Avenue. Dating from 1912, the Spanish Colonial style church took the place of an earlier church from 1861. Its parish dates from 1850, when it was founded for the many immigrants arriving in the city of Brooklyn.

Pope Benedict XVI approved, on February 14, 2013, a petition from Bishop Nicholas Anthony DiMarzio to make the church the diocesan co-cathedral. The reasons given were that the Cathedral Basilica of St. James lacks space for diocesan liturgies, and that the church has a prime location close to Barclays Center and a construction boom meant to add 16,000 apartments.

The church has room for 1,500 worshippers, and the building went through an $18.5 million renovation. On the campus, next door at 834 Pacific Street, is a Gothic revival rectory from around 1860, and a school stands at 683 Dean Street, dating from around 1920.
