4 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- A slim building between towers
The synagogue is a narrow, low building between taller neighbors, so little of it shows from some sides. A bigger print size helps keep its small roof and front details readable.
- One piece with the ground
Congregation Chasam Sopher is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Congregation Chasam Sopher takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About Congregation Chasam Sopher
The Orthodox Jewish synagogue of Congregation Chasam Sopher is at 10 Clinton Street, in Manhattan's Lower East Side. Two congregations of immigrants from Poland merged to form it in 1892. It occupies a historic Romanesque Revival building that Congregation Rodeph Sholom built in 1853. The building ranks among the oldest standing synagogues in the United States. In New York it is the second-oldest synagogue building, and it is the oldest one in use in the state.
Upstairs work finished in 2006 conserved the Torah ark, added new stained-glass windows, and removed interior paint to reveal the original wood. Landscaping outside also created a garden for the neighborhood. The building dates from 1853, decades before the congregation took shape in 1892.
