  1. A small building by the park

The synagogue is a small block beside a large park edge, with taller neighbors on the other side. Print larger to give its facade presence; Full detail keeps every modeled feature if your nozzle is fine.

  2. One piece with the ground

Congregation Shearith Israel is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  3. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  4. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Congregation Shearith Israel takes the building color.

  5. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About Congregation Shearith Israel

Congregation Shearith Israel, known popularly as The Spanish and Portuguese Synagogue, stands at 2 West 70th Street, on Central Park West, on Manhattan's Upper West Side as an Orthodox Jewish synagogue. No Jewish congregation in the United States is older. Until 1825 it was New York City's only Jewish congregation, and it follows the Sephardic rite.

Its first members, twenty-three refugees from Dutch Brazil, reached New Amsterdam in September 1654. Permission from the authorities to settle there followed in 1655. Not until 1730 could the congregation build a synagogue of its own, on Mill Street, a street now called South William Street. Five synagogue buildings have housed it since then.

The congregation has used its present Neoclassical building on West 70th Street since 1897. Arnold Brunner was the architect, and Louis Comfort Tiffany did the interior design and the stained glass. It was refurbished extensively in 1921. Rabbi Henry Pereira Mendes of Shearith Israel cofounded the American Jewish Theological Seminary in 1886, and its first classes took place at the synagogue.
