Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. A mid-rise among towers

Much taller buildings surround this hotel, and its rooftop details are small. A larger print size, Full detail and a layer height of 0.12-0.16 mm help keep them crisp.

  2. One piece with the ground

The Cosmopolitan Hotel Tribeca is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  3. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  4. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Cosmopolitan Hotel Tribeca takes the building color.

  5. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About the Cosmopolitan Hotel Tribeca

On West Broadway in Tribeca, Manhattan (number 95), stands the Cosmopolitan Hotel Tribeca, a historic hotel also called the Frederick Hotel. Tobacco merchant James Boorman built it in 1844-45. It was first called the Girard House, and in the 1860s it took the name Cosmopolitan. It originally stood opposite the Hudson River Railroad's southern depot.

The hotel belongs to the Tribeca South Historic District. It has Gothic elements, an Art Deco storefront and an Edwardian rooftop. It has been substantially modified over the years, and its interior has been entirely redone. Its first red brick was painted beige late in the 19th century, and in 1989 a seventh floor went on top.
